We are trying to choose the best DJ for our wedding. What should we do if we are considering using your services.
- Call to set up a face-to-face meeting. It has been my experience that brides and grooms often choose their DJ by speaking directly to them over the phone and then through a face-to-face meeting.
- Don’t fret if you are unable to meet your DJ in person before your special day. He or she will stay in regular contact with you to ensure that your needs are met and your concerns and questions are answered.
- Because our DJ’s are typically booked most weekends, it is usually best to plan on meeting during the traditional work week.
Can we attend a wedding to see one of your DJ’s or bands perform?
- Out of respect for our brides and grooms, we do not use their wedding day to promote our services by inviting uninvited guests. We would never want a bride or groom to feel as if their special day was being crashed simply so that we could draw in business.
- We would be more than happy to put you in contact with some of our past brides and grooms whom we’ve had the pleasure of entertaining.
- If you would like to see one of our live music acts, we will arrange a time for that.
We also want someone to provide music for the ceremony. Can you provide that?
- We certainly can. Double-E Mobile Music & Entertainment can provide soloists and/or instrumentalists. Just let us know what you are looking for.
Can your DJ or band leader make special announcements and introductions?
- Absolutely! Your DJ will also act as emcee, and it will be done with class.
- Because your DJ/Band Leader is also going to emcee your reception, he or she will synchronize all activities according to your plan, paying special attention to the most important details of your event. This takes a great deal of stress off of you so that you can feel like a guest at your own party.
- Your DJ/Band Leader will gladly do all announcements and introductions unless you have chosen someone else to do that for you.
We have specific musical likes and dislikes. How will you accommodate those?
- Every wedding celebration is as different as the people participating in them. Because of this, we do not have a “cookie cutter” approach as to how we play or perform the music. Our emphasis is always on helping the bride and groom have the party that THEY are hoping to achieve.
- The Double-E Mobile Music & Entertainment professionals have no less than ten years of entertainment experience. Our performers have collectively performed at literally thousands of events…small, large, diverse, traditional, cross-cultural, multi-cultural, etc. Whatever your likes and dislikes, your tastes will be accommodated.
- Keeping your musical tastes in mind, your DJ will also “read” the crowd to ensure that the party flowing.
When should we book the entertainment for our wedding and reception?
- Music is the pulse of any great party, so booking your entertainment shortly after you’ve set the date of your wedding is highly recommended. You want to be sure that your DJ or band is able to reserve that date specially for you.
